VUNO Fall Intelligence
VUNO's innovative multi-factor mechanism evaluates available signals through four successive safeguards to identify a probable fall with high confidence while limiting false alarms. The exact technical method is internal VUNO technology. The feature is off by default and enabled voluntarily.
Time to respond
The phone starts a loud alarm. You have two minutes to tap “I'm OK”, so a dropped mount or false signal does not cause an unnecessary external notification.
Clear information
If you do not respond, one SMS per verified contact is attempted with a short, private link to the latest available location. No second “resolved” SMS is sent.
Control without unnecessary permissions.
- Add up to two people manually — VUNO never requests access to your full address book.
- Enable the feature only after separate information and explicit acceptance of its limitations.
- See which invitation is pending and which contact is verified.
- Remove a contact or disable Fall Guard SMS completely from Settings.
- See separately whether an SMS was accepted for sending or failed.
They participate only by choice.
- Receive the private invitation personally from the rider — not an unsolicited SMS from VUNO.
- Enter their own number, consent and verify it by SMS code.
- Receive one short incident SMS with the rider's name and a secure link.
- The link shows the location and expires automatically after 24 hours.
- No advertising and no second SMS when an incident is resolved.
